I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. However, working with adults is my specialty. I have worked with a wide range of individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions (becoming a parent, divorce, turning a certain age, change in careers, etc), depression, post-pandemic stress/anxiety/trauma, self-esteem concerns, overwhelming stress, and much more.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for successful therapy. Therefore, I provide a safe space for you to open up and be yourself while meeting you with empathy, compassion, and accountability. I work side by side with you to help you see your own potential, as well as help you gain insight into yourself, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and trust yourself as having the power over your own healing. My approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual client. However, I tend to use therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, positive psychology, Mindfulness-based, and Nature-based Therapy, the most.
I love what I do, and I am truly honored to be a part of your journey toward healing and self-growth.
HEY THERE, I'M
Why Me?
I am not your average therapist, and I’m very happy about that. I am real. I have conversations that seem “untraditional” in therapy. However, those “untraditional” conversations are the ones where true connection and major change happens.
I know first hand how therapy can change your life. Therapy helped me in some of the scariest times of my life. In fact, experiencing such life changing therapy is what encouraged me to go back to school to become a therapist. That’s right! I went to undergrad for Film and Video!
I care, deeply. I care about you. I care about your growth.
